It's been an interesting spring out here.. in many ways. Weather has been a bit more turbulent and rather cooler than normal... but that doesn't deter the noble Cherry Tree.
I looked up the other day and saw the last rays of sun backlighting this mass of blossoms just as a small but violent front was about to overtake my position. Summed up a lot of things for me.. and seeing as I never go out without me camera I thought I had to grab this shot.
Ever see Blade Runner? Roy's final speech... ' I've .. SEEN things.. you humans would never believe... attack ship on fire off the shoulder of Orion...' Well.. we all have those ' little moments ' no matter where we go, and what we are doing. Don't let them get lost when you go. Shoot them. Share them. Get sappy about them! Whatever you feel you need to do with them.
Maybe they don't mean anything to anyone else... but that's fine too.
The hail storm that hit a few moments later probably wiped most of these 'Little Samurai' out... but that's part of their job too. Brief, beautiful and memorable!
